The Australian Vocal Ensemble (AVÉ) is seeking expressions of interest from communities, choirs, venues, and cultural organisations interested in hosting or participating in upcoming vocal workshops and performances as part of a regional Queensland engagement program.

We invite local choirs, community groups, venues, language holders, schools, and individuals to register their interest in participating in this unique opportunity, which celebrates place, language, and storytelling through song.

Completing this form does not commit you to participation, but it will help us connect with you, potential partners and shape our activity to best work with your community.

  • Just for Dreaming is a new program by the Australian Vocal Ensemble (AVÉ) that celebrates Australian stories, language, and place through song.

    The program brings AVÉ’s four singers to regional communities to share a newly commissioned Australian song cycle, featuring unpublished texts by Trent Dalton, composed by some of Australia’s finest living composers and the next generation of Australian composers.

    Alongside performances, the ensemble will offer workshops, community choir collaborations, and opportunities for local participation.

    This is a statewide project built from local voices, and we’d love yours to be part of it.
